Dwarika's Resort Dhulikhel is set on four acres of steeply terraced gardens in the hill town of Dhulikhel, 30km east of Kathmandu at approximately 1,550 metres elevation on the Arniko Highway. As the sister property of Dwarika's Hotel in Kathmandu, the resort shares the same commitment to Nepali heritage craftsmanship while adding an extensive wellness programme and a rural Himalayan setting. Views from the terraced gardens span the full length of the visible Himalayan chain from Ganesh Himal through Langtang, Jugal Himal, Rolwaling, and towards Kanchenjunga — a panorama frequently cited as one of the finest seen from any resort in Nepal.
The resort's architecture blends traditional Newari stone and brick construction with sustainability principles: buildings are low-rise and embedded into the hillside contours, reclaimed materials are used throughout, and the gardens are cultivated with indigenous medicinal herbs used in the spa programme.
