Radisson Blu Resort, Al Hoceima

Radisson Blu Resort, Al Hoceima is a luxury beach resort on La Rocade Méditerranéenne at Sfiha beach, on the Mediterranean coast of the Rif in northern Morocco. Al Hoceima is a coastal city whose bay is backed by mountains, and the resort sits on the shoreline a few kilometres from the city centre, the Charif Al Idrissi airport and the port. The Al Hoceima National Park, with its coves, cliffs and clear water, lies nearby, and the Spanish island of Peñón de Alhucemas can be seen from the coast. The resort is a large, modern, international-brand complex built for leisure, with terraces, pools and direct beach access shaping the experience, and the setting is quieter and more remote than the resorts around Tetouan. Rooms are Superior Rooms, Suites and Residences, with air conditioning and WiFi, and many have views of the sea or the pools, while residences suit families and longer stays. Dining is provided by several restaurants offering Moroccan, Mediterranean and international dishes, with seafood a local strength, and breakfast is a buffet. Facilities include the beach, a pool and a spa, and parking is available for guests arriving by car. Service follows international standards, with staff able to arrange transfers, boat trips, visits to Cala Iris, Torres de Alcala and the Al Hoceima National Park, and meetings or events. Outside summer the resort is quiet and prices drop, though sea swimming is cool. Visitors arriving by road should allow plenty of time because the journey through the Rif is long.
