Villa des Orangers

Villa des Orangers occupies a former private house built in the 1930s on Rue Sidi Mimoun, between the Royal Palace and Jemaa el-Fnaa in the Mechouar Kasbah area of the Medina, at the foot of the Koutoubia Mosque. The riad takes its name from the orange trees planted through its several interconnected courtyards, which remain a defining feature of the property alongside carved cedar ceilings and traditional tadelakt plasterwork. Rooms range from Classic and Deluxe Rooms to Junior Suites and Suites, each individually decorated with antique furniture and Moroccan textiles. The fine-dining restaurant serves Moroccan cuisine on a courtyard terrace, and a rooftop terrace offers additional dining and lounge space with views over the Medina. Wellness facilities include a spa with a hammam and treatment rooms, alongside a rooftop pool and a separate courtyard pool. A concierge team arranges private guides for the nearby Royal Palace grounds, Saadian Tombs and El Badi Palace, and airport transfers are available on request. The relatively small scale of the property, with around thirty rooms across its courtyards, keeps the atmosphere intimate despite its central Medina location.
