Riad Dar Rocmarra occupies a fully refurbished traditional house in the Bab Doukkala area of the Medina, about ten minutes' walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa and close to the Bab Doukkala Mosque and its neighbourhood souk, a quieter part of the old city than the tourist-dense lanes around Mouassine. Local craftsmen restored the five-room house around a central courtyard planted with an olive tree, keeping traditional zellige tile, carved plaster, and cedar woodwork alongside a small plunge pool. Rooms are arranged across Standard, Superior, and Suite categories, each air-conditioned and finished with handmade Moroccan furnishings; the compact scale of the riad means all five rooms open onto or overlook the same courtyard. An in-house chef prepares Moroccan lunch and dinner on request, served in the courtyard or on the rooftop terrace, and breakfast is included for all guests. The property does not run a separate hammam or spa, with the plunge pool and courtyard serving as the main relaxation space. Service is personal and small-scale, with the resident team handling meal timing, taxi arrangements, and Medina orientation directly, making the riad suited to guests who want a quiet, craft-restored courtyard stay within walking distance of the square without the density of the more heavily touristed lanes.
