Hotel Kenzi Basma

Hotel Kenzi Basma is a four-star hotel on Boulevard d'Anfa in the centre-ville area of Casablanca, Morocco, and is part of the Kenzi hotel group, a Moroccan chain. The location puts it between the downtown core and the Anfa district, so guests can reach the Old Medina, the central market area and the Maarif shopping streets within roughly 10 to 15 minutes by taxi. The Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche are each about 15 to 25 minutes away depending on traffic, and Mohammed V International Airport is around 40 kilometres to the south-east. The hotel is a practical city property with a modern interior, designed for business travellers, conference attendees and tour groups, and it keeps a steady corporate rhythm during the week. Rooms are offered as standard rooms, double or twin rooms and suites, all with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and suites suit families or longer stays. An on-site restaurant serves breakfast and meals, typically including Moroccan and international dishes, and the surrounding district has many restaurants and cafes for variety. A fitness centre is available; the hotel does not centre on a spa or beach, so leisure guests normally visit the Corniche by taxi. The service character is business-oriented and hospitable, with Moroccan Kenzi hospitality and front-desk staff generally speaking Arabic, French and English. Group handling is a strength, so the lobby and breakfast room can be busy during tours and events. Rates of about MAD 700 to 1,400 per night make it a mid-range option, below the five-star hotels but above budget central hotels. Visitors should confirm what is included in the rate, such as breakfast, and allow for rush-hour traffic on Boulevard d'Anfa. Requesting a higher floor can reduce street noise.
