Montenegro is a stunning Balkan country featuring dramatic Adriatic coastline, medieval towns, and rugged mountains. From the UNESCO-listed Bay of Kotor to the beaches of Budva, Montenegro offers remarkable natural beauty and rich cultural heritage in a compact, accessible destination.
Montenegro has two distinct climate zones: a warm Mediterranean climate on the coast with hot dry summers and mild wet winters, and a continental alpine climate inland with cold snowy winters and warm summers. The Bay of Kotor receives more rainfall than any coastal European city due to its enclosed topography, but almost entirely in winter. Coastal summers are reliably hot and sunny from June to September.
