Service is mid-scale resort in character rather than boutique. Practical considerations follow from the setting: there is no beach at the property itself, since the frontage is rock rather than sand, and swimming means the pools; the sandy beaches of Rosarito are a short drive north. The Puerto Nuevo lobster village is about ten minutes south, and the Valle de Guadalupe is roughly an hour inland, so the resort works as a base for both.
