Montage Los Cabos sits at Km 8 on the Carretera Transpeninsular in the Los Cabos hotel corridor, positioned on a dramatic clifftop roughly 8 km from San José del Cabo and 37 km from Cabo San Lucas. The resort's most distinctive feature is a naturally occurring saltwater lagoon, the only one of its kind in the region, which forms a protected swimming area on the resort's white-sand beach directly below the cliff face. The property opened in 2018 as Montage's first Mexican resort, built in a hacienda-inspired style that integrates local stone and timber into contemporary architecture.
