Bookings are made in advance through the operator's site (ps-q.jp). The roughly three-hour program begins with a guided tour of the Gen-emon Kiln, one of Arita's long-established porcelain workshops, covering the history of Arita ware and the techniques used to paint and fire it, before moving to a multi-course kaiseki lunch served entirely on Gen-emon porcelain. The kaiseki course typically runs five to seven small dishes, balancing savoury seasonal seafood and vegetable preparations with a light sweet course to close the meal, so the tasting leans savoury overall. The ¥12,000 base price includes the kiln tour, guide commentary, and the full kaiseki lunch; alcohol pairings, souvenir porcelain purchases, and transport to Arita are not included and can raise the total to around ¥18,000. Tours run in small groups, generally under twelve people, with commentary available in Japanese and English; the pace is unhurried, allowing time to examine kiln workshops between courses.
