Sea Kayaking Dublin Bay

This guided sea kayak tour launches from the tiny fishing harbour of Bullock in Dalkey and crosses Dalkey Sound to Dalkey Island, home to a ruined Martello tower, the remains of St Begnet's church, feral goats, and — the highlight for most paddlers — a resident colony of grey seals that often approach the kayaks. The route hugs a dramatic granite coastline with views back toward Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains. Guides handle the safety briefing and route-finding, so complete beginners can join without prior kayaking experience.
