Nea Paralia is the long waterfront promenade that runs along the Thermaic Gulf in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece, centred on Leoforos Nikis. The name means new waterfront. The stretch was redesigned in the 2000s and 2010s into a series of landscaped gardens, paved walkways, cycle paths, and open squares that stretch for several kilometres from the port area toward the Concert Hall, with the White Tower at its heart.

Visitors find lawns, shaded benches, playgrounds, and small thematic gardens along the way, as well as public sculpture: the large Umbrellas installation by the artist George Zongolopoulos is among the best-known pieces and a favourite photo subject, and an equestrian statue of Alexander the Great stands on the promenade. Cafes and bars face the water on the inland side of Leoforos Nikis, and street performers, joggers, cyclists, and families fill the path through the day. The promenade is open at all hours and free, so a visit can be as short as a stroll or as long as an evening of sitting by the sea. A walk of one to two hours covers the central section between the White Tower and the Umbrellas. Sunset is the best moment, when the White Tower and the gulf are lit and the light warms the waterfront, and the promenade is busiest on weekend evenings, particularly in summer. Early morning is quiet and popular with runners. The area connects easily with the Museum of Byzantine Culture, the Archaeological Museum, and the central streets of the city. Windy days can make the exposed waterfront cool in winter, so layers are useful.
