New Hotel Athens occupies a former Olympic Airways office building on Filellinon Street, two blocks south of Syntagma Square in central Athens. The building was transformed by Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana — the Campana Brothers — whose intervention turned the interiors into an exercise in creative material reuse. Salvaged furniture fragments, repurposed wooden elements, and hand-crafted fixtures are integrated throughout the lobby, corridors, and guestrooms, making the hotel as much an art installation as an accommodation.
The 79 rooms and suites are divided into Superior, Deluxe, and Junior Suite categories, each with bespoke Campana-designed furnishings. Despite the experimental aesthetic, rooms include all expected amenities: high-speed Wi-Fi, climate control, premium bedding, and well-designed bathrooms.
