Ferry tickets and food purchases are paid separately at each point rather than bundled into a single price, since there is no operator or booking system involved; the estimated cost range covers a return ferry fare plus two or three fish tastings. The walk suits individuals or small groups moving at their own pace over roughly four hours including ferry time, and requires no language skill or advance booking, since the HADAG ferry runs on a public transit schedule and the smokehouses are walk-up stands.
