The Waldorf Astoria Berlin opened in 2013 as the anchor of the Zoofenster development — a striking 32-storey glass and steel tower at the western end of Kurfürstendamm in Charlottenburg. The hotel stands immediately adjacent to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church ruin, Berlin's most recognisable postwar landmark, and 300 metres from Zoologischer Garten S/U-Bahn station, one of the city's most important interchange hubs.

Berlin's most glamorous address since opening in 2013, occupying a dramatic 32-storey tower at the western end of Kurfürstendamm. The art deco-inspired interiors, 232 rooms and suites, and the acclaimed Peacock Alley bar create an atmosphere of refined luxury. The spa and indoor pool on the upper floors offer city views.

Kurfürstendamm's high-end retail strip begins directly below; the 25hours Bikini Berlin and the zoo are a five-minute walk; the Messe Berlin exhibition centre is approximately 4 km away by U-Bahn.

The 232 rooms and 60 suites are among the largest standard hotel rooms in Berlin, with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximise the tower's panoramic advantage. Art deco detailing — coffered ceilings, geometric brass fixtures, marble surfaces — runs throughout the public spaces, referencing the design language of the original New York Waldorf Astoria. Upper-floor suites command sweeping views across Charlottenburg and the Tiergarten canopy. The Astoria Suite and above categories include butler service.

The Peacock Alley bar — inspired by the famous promenade of the original New York hotel — is the signature social space: a grand art deco room serving afternoon tea from 2pm, cocktails throughout the evening, and a Sunday brunch that has become a fixture for Berlin residents. The restaurant ROCA serves contemporary European cuisine with seasonal German produce at its core.

The upper-floor spa includes an indoor pool, multiple sauna varieties including a Finnish sauna and bio-sauna, a steam room, and a full treatment programme from Waldorf Astoria Spa. A fully equipped fitness centre operates 24 hours. The concierge team serves both corporate and leisure guests; the hotel is a natural base for trade fair visitors to the Messe Berlin and for longer stays in the western city. Accessible rooms are available throughout the property.
