Mechanical giants, including Asterion the Minotaur and Ariane the spider.
The Halle de la Machine is housed in the former Latécoère aircraft hangar at Montaudran, the birthplace of the Aéropostale. The company La Machine, with Francois Delaroziere, built large machines for the city, such as Asterion the Minotaur and Ariane the giant spider. Visitors see the mechanical workshop, look at drawings and ride or watch the machines at set times. The Piste des Géants memorial stands next door on the former runway. Tickets for rides and the exhibition are sold separately.
