The Vichy shower — in which the guest reclines on a heated waterproof plinth while multiple overhead jets deliver pressurised mineral water — is a centrepiece treatment, paired with traditional mud wraps using mineral-rich thermal clay and inhalation therapy using steam infused with the sulphurous spring water. Hydrotherapy pools fed by the natural spring allow extended immersion at therapeutic temperatures, and a hammam and sauna circuit completes the wellness offering for day visitors. Therapists hold French state qualifications in balneotherapy and physical therapy; the centre is staffed by certified masseurs and hydrotherapy specialists. The atmosphere is classical and purposeful — high ceilings, polished stone, and the measured pace of a working thermal centre rather than the engineered luxury of a lifestyle resort. The lakeside position allows guests to walk directly to Lac du Bourget's promenade between treatment sessions, or take a boat excursion to the Abbaye de Hautecombe on the opposite shore. For the medically supervised cure programme, a physician's prescription is required and bookings are made in advance through the centre's medical office.
