Hotel Park Split

Hotel Park Split occupies a low-rise building set within a mature park garden in the Bačvice district, roughly 800 metres east of Diocletian's Palace along the coastal promenade. The position is practical: Bačvice Beach — famous for the local shallow-water game of picigin — is a three-minute walk, the Old Town is reachable on foot in around 12 minutes, and the bus and ferry terminal is under ten minutes in the opposite direction. The Riva promenade connects the hotel area directly to the historic centre along a flat seafront walkway.

The building dates to the early twentieth century and retains a period character that is unusual among Split hotels of its price category. Its setting within a park garden means the surroundings are greener and quieter than the typical urban hotel, while sea-view rooms on the upper floors offer a lookout across the bay toward the islands of Brač and Šolta. A renovation has modernised the interiors while preserving the building's structural identity and original proportions.

Room types include Standard Rooms in various configurations, Superior Rooms with improved furnishings and in some cases partial sea outlook, Family Rooms accommodating two adults and two children, and Suites with separate living areas and sea views. Air conditioning and free WiFi are standard throughout.

The hotel restaurant serves breakfast and dinner in a formal dining room or on the garden terrace, with Croatian seafood and grilled dishes representing the regional menu. A garden terrace also functions as a casual bar area in the evenings. The hotel's position near the beach makes it a natural choice for guests whose holiday centres on swimming and coastal activity, while the Old Town is close enough for daily visits on foot.
