Fresh Sheets Hostel occupies a building on Sveti Simuna within Dubrovnik's UNESCO-listed walled old city, one of the most intact medieval fortified towns in the Mediterranean. The hostel is positioned near the Buža Gate in the city walls, with the main Stradun promenade and the Pile Gate entrance five to seven minutes on foot. The Old Harbour, departure point for boats to the Elafiti Islands, Lokrum, and Cavtat, is accessible within the walls. The location inside the walls is a substantive advantage over hostels in the Lapad or Pile areas, which require a regular bus or long walk to reach the historic centre.
