Lingyan-Lingfeng Loop, Yandang Mountain

The Lingyan-Lingfeng Loop links two of Yandang Mountain's most visited scenic sub-areas in Yueqing, Wenzhou, starting from the ticketed Lingfeng entrance gate reached by scheduled bus from Wenzhou South Railway Station or the Yueqing long-distance bus station, followed by the shuttle that circulates between the Lingfeng, Lingyan and Dalongqiu zones; a car park sits beside the main scenic area gate. The loop covers roughly 8 kilometres with about 500 metres of cumulative elevation gain over 4-5 hours on a mix of stone-paved steps, packed dirt paths and boardwalk sections through the granite gorges, keeping the technical difficulty moderate with no scrambling required. Lower gorge sections stay shaded under subtropical forest cover, while the granite terraces near Lingfeng's needle-shaped peaks are fully exposed to sun and wind. Key landmarks include the Lingfeng twin peaks known as Sunshine Peak and Moonlight Peak, the Yiguan Peak rock formation, and the Lingyan cliff amphitheatre used for an evening rock-climbing show; hikers seeking a shorter outing can turn back at the Lingyan viewing platform, roughly the halfway point of the loop. Snack and water vendors cluster near both the Lingfeng and Lingyan sub-area entrances, and covered rest pavilions appear at intervals along the gorge trail, though the route has no overnight refuge huts.
