Dianchi Hotel

Dianchi Hotel, known in Chinese as Dianchi Dajiudian, is a lakeside hotel in the Dianchi National Tourism Resort in Xishan District, on the shore of Dianchi Lake south-west of central Kunming in Yunnan province, southwest China. Dianchi is the largest lake in Yunnan, and the tourism resort area along its northern and western shores is a leisure zone with parkland, promenades and views toward the Western Hills, a forested ridge popular for temples and lookout points. The setting is quieter and greener than the downtown streets around Dongfeng Square, and visitors typically reach it from the city centre by taxi or ride-hailing car, usually within thirty minutes to an hour depending on traffic. The hotel suits travellers who prefer a lake-side base for relaxed walks, cycling and sunset viewing over the water, and who are comfortable travelling into Kunming for city sights such as Green Lake Park and Nanping Pedestrian Street.
