The Chongqing Road and Ouya Mall area (重庆路欧亚商圈) is a central retail corridor in Chaoyang District, Changchun, Jilin Province, anchored by the Ouya (Eurasia) shopping centre and the department stores that line Chongqing Road. It is one of the established commercial hubs of the city and is regularly used by residents for everyday purchases as well as gift shopping. The district sells clothing, cosmetics, luggage, household goods and electronics, and it is also a convenient place to pick up regional gifts such as boxed ginseng and deer-product sets, which are packaged for presentation and often bought as presents for relatives.

Vendor quality here is closer to the mainstream department-store standard than to an open-air market. Stores inside the Ouya complex and neighbouring malls operate fixed prices, with branded counters staffed by company sales assistants, so the ratio of authentic stock to tourist trinkets is high. Ginseng gift boxes typically range from about CNY 150 to CNY 1,500 depending on root grade, age and packaging. Visitors buying ginseng or deer products should look for sealed, labelled packaging showing the producer, ingredients and production licence, and should be cautious of unmarked loose products offered at unusually low prices. Bargaining is not the norm in the malls, although small street-level shops may offer a small discount on larger purchases.

Payment is mainly by Alipay and WeChat Pay, with cash and domestic bank cards also accepted. Foreign cards work at some larger counters but not reliably, so a backup payment method is advisable. Tourist tax refunds are available only at stores that display the participating-store sign, so eligibility should be checked before purchase. The atmosphere is busy but more orderly than a street market, with crowds peaking at weekends and during holiday promotions. Food is available inside the malls through restaurant floors and food courts offering northeastern dishes, noodles, hotpot and bakery items, and Chongqing Road itself has snack sellers and cafes. The corridor is reached by Changchun Metro near Chongqing Road station (重庆路站), and visitors usually walk between the department stores along the road. Opening hours are generally from about 9:30AM to 9:30PM daily.
