Haijiangcheng Aquatic (海江成水产)

Haijiangcheng Aquatic (海江成水产) is a seafood restaurant in Hunchun, a border city in the Yanbian prefecture of Jilin province, China, close to the Russian and North Korean frontiers. It stands 100 m northeast of the intersection of Chuncheng Road and Youyi Hutong. Hunchun is known across northeast China as a seafood hub, because its proximity to Russia makes imported king crab (帝王蟹) and other cold-water catch available at lower prices than in inland cities. At Haijiangcheng, diners choose live king crab, flower crab and Arctic surf clam (北极贝) from tanks and have them cooked to order. The signature dishes are steamed king crab (清蒸帝王蟹), which is cooked simply to preserve the flavour, Arctic surf clam sashimi, and stir-fried crab with chilli (辣炒毛蟹). The specialty is king crab sourced from Russian border imports.
