This is a seated ticketed show rather than a bar or club, so the crowd is mostly domestic tour groups, families, couples and visitors staying at nearby hotels, spanning all ages, with a spectacle-focused atmosphere. There is no dress code, and smart-casual or casual clothes are normal; a light jacket is useful for evening air by the lake. The music is a staged score with live performance elements, dance and water effects, and the programme is delivered in Mandarin with a visual emphasis that makes it easy to follow without the language. There is no drinks programme inside the performance, though refreshments are generally sold around the film-town complex, and visitors often eat nearby before the show. Performances take place in the evening, with days and times varying by season and demand, and tickets typically cost around CNY 120-300 (approx USD 18-45) depending on the seating category. Weekends and holiday periods are the most reliable for scheduled performances and the busiest for seats, while some weekdays may have no show. There is no cover charge in the nightclub sense; seats are bought as tickets, which can be reserved in advance via platforms such as Meituan or purchased at the ticket window, and there is no bottle service.
