Fairfield by Marriott Suzhou Jinji Lake

Fairfield by Marriott Suzhou Jinji Lake is a budget-oriented hotel in Building 2 at No. 18 Jiarui Lane in Suzhou Industrial Park, near the Jinji Lake area in Jiangsu Province, China. The Industrial Park is Suzhou's modern eastern district, characterised by wide avenues, shopping malls, offices and lakeside parks, and the hotel's position puts guests close to Jinji Lake's walking and cycling paths as well as to the metro network that links the district with the old town's gardens, Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street. Fairfield is Marriott's value-focused brand, offering simple, modern, functional rooms with comfortable beds, work desks, free wifi and consistent service. Room types are typically standard kings and twins, with rates of roughly CNY 280 to 500 per night, making the property one of the more affordable Marriott-branded options in Suzhou. Amenities are streamlined: guests can expect a breakfast offering with Chinese and Western items, a small fitness area in many Fairfield properties, and lobby seating, but there is no spa or pool, and full-service dining is limited. Nearby malls, food courts and restaurants around Jinji Lake provide cheap and varied evening meals, including Suzhou noodles, hotpot, dumplings and international chains. Service is efficient and no-frills, with staff who can help with taxis, luggage storage and train tickets, though English may be limited outside the front desk. The hotel suits independent travellers, small families and business visitors who want a reliable global brand at a lower price, as well as those attending exhibitions at the Suzhou Expo Center. Travellers focused on old-town sightseeing may prefer to allow extra travel time, but the metro makes the trip straightforward. The nearby lake promenade is pleasant for morning jogs and evening walks, and rates are lowest outside holidays and expo periods.
