Elong Mecher Hotel Huai'an Hongze

Elong Mecher Hotel Huai'an Hongze is a business hotel in Hongze Lake, Hongze District, Huai'an, Jiangsu province, China. It stands at Building 3, Wuyi International Plaza, No. 128 Yishou Road, Gaoliangjian Subdistrict, Hongze District, Huai'an, Jiangsu, placing guests in the Hongze Lake area, a lakeside district oriented towards water views and leisure. Hongze District sits on the shore of Hongze Lake, one of China's largest freshwater lakes, and is a quieter lakeside district of Huai'an. The property sits at roughly 33.29062, 118.87182, which helps with taxi and map-app navigation, a practical point in China where ride-hailing apps such as Didi are the usual way to reach a hotel. Elong is a Chinese online travel brand whose hotel labels target value-conscious business and leisure guests with simple, modern rooms. The hotel is a modern building aimed at business travellers and families, and the local Chinese name is 淮安艺龙美程酒店(洪泽武夷国际广场店). The property opened in 2022. Guest rooms are offered as double bed room, twin room, suite and family room, giving options for solo travellers, couples and families. Listed amenities include laundry, free luggage storage, fitness room, kids meals and robot delivery service. These are the facilities reported on booking platforms; guests who need a specific facility such as a bathtub, connecting rooms or a late arrival desk are advised to confirm with the property before arrival. Pricing is typically ¥200-380 (~$28-54) per night; check dates, not a quoted rate. The price band is shown as $$, and the property carries a rating of 4.6 from about 1185 reviews on the platforms where it is listed, which suggests a consistent standard of cleanliness and service. Breakfast is usually either included in the rate or sold at the front desk, and mainland-style options such as congee, noodles, steamed buns and eggs are typical for the area. Huai'an is the birthplace of Premier Zhou Enlai and a canal city known for Huaiyang cuisine, so guests commonly pair a stay with visits to the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall, Hexia Ancient Town, the Grand Canal waterfront and local restaurants serving soft-shelled turtle, eel dishes and crayfish in season. The city has its own airport and a high-speed rail connection, and having the hotel's local name and address saved on a phone is useful when asking for directions. Service at the property is generally practical and efficient rather than ceremonial: check-in is quick, staff are used to domestic business guests, and foreign visitors should carry a passport because registration with the local police system is mandatory for every guest. Some smaller or lower-priced hotels in mainland China have historically had restrictions on accepting foreign passport holders, so confirming acceptance when booking is wise.
