Two Rivers and Four Lakes is the lakeside scenic loop at the heart of Guilin, Guangxi, China, linking the Li and Taohua (Peach Blossom) rivers with Shan Lake, Rong Lake, Gui Lake and Mulong Lake. The lakes were once part of the moat of the old city, and they now form a landscaped chain of promenades, willow-lined paths, bridges and pavilions that runs between Binjiang Road and Zhongshan Road through the Xiufeng and Xiangshan districts.

The best-known sights along the loop are the Sun and Moon Pagodas on Shan Lake, the Ancient South Gate and banyan tree on Rong Lake and various arched stone bridges. Walking the promenades is free and open 24 hours, while the night cruise, which runs from about 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and entry to the pagoda area are sold separately, at roughly 120 to 190 yuan depending on the package. Children under 1.2 metres usually travel free when sharing a seat. A full circuit with stops takes two to three hours on foot, and shorter segments can be done in under an hour. The loop is at its best from dusk, when the pagodas, bridges and buildings are lit in gold and white and reflected in the water. Boats move slowly through the connecting canals, giving views of illuminated bridges and gardens, while the walking route allows photographs from the bridge arches and lakeside terraces. During the day the area is quieter, with locals practising tai chi, fishing and playing music beside the water. Crowds are heaviest in the evening, especially on weekends and holidays, when the cruise queues lengthen and pavements fill. Buses 2, 12 and 99 stop at Shan Lake and Rong Lake, and the area is walkable from Zhengyang pedestrian street. Paths are largely flat and well lit.
