Kravice Waterfalls is a broad, semicircular cascade on the Trebižat river near Studenci, Ljubuški, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, about 45 minutes by car from Mostar. The river drops roughly 25 metres over a wide limestone rim, forming a curtain of water about 120 metres across that falls into a large turquoise lake. The surroundings are wooded, with a pebble beach, picnic areas and wooden platforms, and the pool is used for swimming in summer. Visitors spend three to four hours on average: walking the paths along the rim, descending stone steps to the water, swimming, and picnicking at tables near the lake. Small cafés and restaurants near the entrance serve grilled food and drinks, and visitors can also rent chairs or use changing areas. Entry is charged during the summer season, around BAM 10 to 20, with lower or no fees outside it. The place is open from morning until around 20:00 in season. Crowds peak at weekends and in July and August, when parking fills, so arriving early in the morning on a weekday gives the best experience. May, June and September are considered ideal, with strong water flow, mild weather and fewer people. The main photo angle is from the viewing platform on the rim and from the lakeside, where the whole semicircle is visible; mist and spray add atmosphere. Water is cold, so swimming is refreshing rather than warm, and the rocks and steps are slippery, so sturdy sandals are advisable. There is no regular public bus, so visitors usually come by hire car, taxi or organised tour from Mostar, often combining it with Počitelj or Blagaj.
