Mountain Biking in the Ardennes
The Belgian Ardennes offers some of the best mountain biking in Western Europe, with purpose-built trail centers and an extensive network of waymarked routes through forest and river valleys. Houffalize is the MTB capital, hosting professional enduro races and offering trails from beginner to expert black diamond. The terrain is hilly with clay-heavy soils that create technical conditions — fast and loose in dry summer, challenging in wet weather.
