Whale Shark Snorkelling — Ningaloo Reef
Swimming alongside the world's largest fish — the gentle whale shark up to 12 metres long — is one of the planet's most extraordinary wildlife experiences, available only from March to August at Ningaloo Reef. Licensed operators use spotter aircraft to locate whale sharks, then transfer guests to the water for guided snorkel swims beside these remarkable creatures.
