Six Senses Con Dao sits on Dat Doc Beach on Con Son Island, the principal island of the Con Dao archipelago in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, roughly 180 kilometres off the southeastern Vietnam coast. Access is via Co Ong Airport on Con Son, served by regional jet and turboprop connections from Ho Chi Minh City with flight times of approximately 45 minutes. The archipelago was historically known as Poulo Condor, site of French colonial and wartime prisons that defined these islands in the Vietnamese national consciousness; the main town contains well-preserved colonial buildings and a significant historical museum.
The resort comprises 50 pool villas in beachfront and hillside configurations at the quieter northern end of Dat Doc Beach. Each villa has a private pool and either a garden, beachfront, or ocean-view siting.
