Amanoi occupies a hillside above Vinh Hy Bay in Ninh Thuan Province, approximately 300 kilometres northeast of Ho Chi Minh City and 70 kilometres north of Cam Ranh International Airport. The resort sits within Nui Chua National Park, one of Vietnam's driest and least-visited biospheres, bordered by coral reefs and a coastline that sees significantly fewer visitors than the resort-dense coast of southern Khanh Hoa Province. The approach from Cam Ranh takes about 90 minutes by private car along a winding coastal road through the national park.
