Kavsar Bukhara Hotel occupies a restored 19th-century merchant house on Mominov Street in the historic core of Bukhara, roughly 250 metres from the Lyab-i-Hauz pool complex and within a ten-minute walk of the Kalon Minaret, Ark Fortress, and the Chor Minor mosque. The building's original courtyard plan has been preserved: a central pool set among potted plants and flowering climbers anchors the common areas, which remain shaded and cool even in midsummer when Bukhara temperatures regularly exceed 40°C.
The architecture blends original carved-wood elements—column capitals, entrance doors, and decorative brackets—with carefully matched restoration work that respects the proportions and palette of the historic structure. Rooms are arranged on two levels around the courtyard, each furnished with Uzbek suzani textiles, patterned tile-topped tables, and beds with traditional patterned bedspreads.
