Emirkhan Hotel Bukhara operates from a restored 19th-century aristocratic residence on Mekhtar Anbar Street in the historic centre of Bukhara, less than 300 metres from the Lyab-i-Hauz pool complex and a short walk from the Kalon Minaret and the medieval Trading Domes of the bazaar district. The property sits within Bukhara's UNESCO World Heritage buffer zone, and its immediate surroundings—a network of quiet mud-brick lanes and carved wooden gateways—closely reflect the city's historic streetscape.

The building retains much of its original structure: a double-height entrance iwan with carved plaster stalactite vaulting, two interconnected courtyards with central water features, and perimeter rooms lit by latticed oriel windows. The restoration sourced materials and craftspeople locally, employing traditional techniques for the hand-carved plaster work, painted wooden ceilings, and glazed tile dadoes lining the ground-floor corridors. Guest rooms are furnished with bespoke carved-wood headboards, hand-blocked fabric curtains, and brass lamps alongside contemporary bathrooms featuring rainfall showers.

The hotel offers 12–16 rooms across standard, superior, and suite categories. Superior rooms occupy former reception halls with higher ceilings and more elaborate decorative programmes; suites include private sitting rooms furnished with antique pieces. The rooftop terrace, reached by a narrow stair, provides unobstructed views across the flat roofscapes of the old city to the Kalon Minaret and the blue dome of the Mir-i-Arab Madrasa. A private hammam suite is available by appointment, offering a traditional steam sequence followed by a Bukhara-style massage.

The courtyard restaurant is set out with low divans and decorative lanterns, serving refined Uzbek dishes using seasonal local ingredients—qurutob salad, stuffed tandoor bread, slow-cooked lamb dimlama, and intricate pastry desserts.
