Plan your hiking adventure for optimal conditions.
April-May is ideal: wildflowers are in bloom, temperatures are mild 15-22°C, and snow has melted from lower trails. Best season for Nuratau and Chimgan foothills.
June-August is hot in lowlands (35-40°C) but bearable at altitude. Alpine zones above 2500m are pleasant. Chimgan summit and Ugam gorge hikes work well.
September-October: excellent conditions with cooler temperatures 12-20°C, clear skies, and golden foliage. Best for all routes especially Chimgan. Second best season overall.
November-March: Chimgan and Beldersay are ski destinations. Lower trails are hikeable but cold (0-10°C). High alpine routes may be snow-covered and require appropriate gear.
