Firehouse Brewing Company, housed in Rapid City's 1915 firehouse on Main Street, is the oldest microbrewery in South Dakota. The building's century-old bones — polished concrete floors, original pressed-tin ceilings, and heritage fire department memorabilia — create an atmospheric backdrop for a menu that pairs craft beer culture with Western comfort food. The brewery produces a rotating slate of ales and lagers on-site, with flagships including a smooth amber ale and a hoppy Black Hills IPA; seasonal releases celebrate local ingredients and regional themes.
