Maah Daah Hey Lodge

The Maah Daah Hey Lodge sits at the edge of Theodore Roosevelt National Park's South Unit near Medora, a small town of fewer than 200 permanent residents that draws tens of thousands of summer visitors for the Badlands scenery and the Medora Musical outdoor amphitheater. The lodge's position on Old East Entrance Road places it within walking distance of the South Unit's entrance station — the entry point for drives along the Scenic Loop Road, hiking the rugged Badlands terrain, and wildlife viewing for bison, wild horses, elk, and prairie dogs.

The property takes its name from the Maah Daah Hey Trail, a 144-mile single-track route through the North Dakota Badlands that is highly regarded by mountain bikers and hikers.
