Encore Las Vegas stands at 3121 S Las Vegas Blvd on the North Strip of Las Vegas, Nevada, connected to its sister property Wynn Las Vegas by an internal walkway and sharing the same entrance drive, golf-course backdrop and many facilities. It sits across the boulevard from the Fashion Show mall and a short drive from Resorts World, the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Monorail stations, while Harry Reid International Airport is about 20 minutes away by road. The bronze-glass tower opened in 2008 and carries a more intimate, richly coloured design than many Strip resorts, with red and gold accents, floral carpets and an atrium that includes a garden-like lobby. Every room is a suite, with Resort Suites, Panoramic Suites and larger Tower Suites offering sitting areas, floor-to-ceiling windows and marble bathrooms; higher categories add larger living spaces and Strip or golf-course views. Guests have access to the shared Wynn and Encore pools and cabanas, the Encore Beach Club day club and the XS nightclub, which draw large crowds on weekends and operate as separate ticketed venues. Dining includes upscale steakhouse, Italian, Asian and French-influenced restaurants shared with Wynn, plus casual cafes, a bakery and a coffee bar for breakfast. The spa and salon, fitness centre and a luxury retail arcade complete the facilities. A mandatory resort fee of roughly $50 to $57 per night applies. Service is attentive and geared toward higher-spending leisure travellers, honeymooners and corporate guests who want a quieter casino environment than the busier central Strip properties. The walkway to Wynn lets visitors reach additional restaurants, shops and the Lake of Dreams show without leaving the resort, and the property tends to be calmer than resorts closer to the Bellagio and Caesars corridor. Visitors who plan to attend the pool clubs should expect to buy separate admission.
