Caesars Palace & The Forum Shops

Caesars Palace at 3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South has been one of the defining landmarks of the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada since opening in 1966, and the Forum Shops attached to it on the eastern side represent one of the most theatrical retail environments in the world. The resort's Roman-inspired architecture — marble columns, toga-draped statuary, fountains modeled on ancient Rome, and the central garden area — creates an immersive classical aesthetic that has made Caesars one of the most recognizable casino hotels on Earth. The Forum Shops, opened in 1992 and expanded multiple times since, are a 675,000-square-foot shopping complex built around an elaborate indoor Roman streetscape with painted ceiling panels that simulate a progression of sky from dawn to dusk over the course of each day — a cycle that takes approximately 30 minutes and can be watched from the central atrium. The shops include a mix of luxury fashion, accessories, and restaurant brands; the complex houses more than 160 stores and 11 restaurants. The Atlantis animatronic show — a free theatrical production staged in a large circular fountain area near the middle of the Forum Shops — runs hourly from 10AM and depicts the fall of Atlantis with moving figures, fire effects, and water jets. The Colosseum at Caesars, a purpose-built entertainment venue seating approximately 4,100 people, is one of Las Vegas's premier concert venues and has hosted extended residencies from artists including Celine Dion, Elton John, and Mariah Carey. The Qua Baths & Spa within the hotel offers treatments and pools for day spa guests. The resort connects to the central Strip via walkways and is walkable to most major properties in the middle section of Las Vegas Boulevard.
