Catch 54

Catch 54 is a waterfront seafood restaurant at 54 W Market Street in Fenwick Island, Delaware's southernmost beach community, set along Little Assawoman Bay. The kitchen anchors its menu in seasonal seafood with a strong emphasis on the regional specialties that define Chesapeake and Delaware Bay fishing culture. Steamed blue crabs are available from late May through September, arriving by the dozen seasoned with Old Bay, served with mallets and butcher paper alongside cold beer — the quintessential Delaware summer dining ritual. The jumbo lump crab cake is plump with barely bound crabmeat and cooked to order, containing minimal filler. Sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna is presented with Asian-inflected accompaniments — pickled ginger, soy, and sesame oil — while shrimp and grits offers a Southern-Chesapeake crossover preparation that has become a perennial menu anchor. The dining room and outdoor deck overlook Little Assawoman Bay, providing one of the most scenic waterfront dining settings in southern Delaware. Sunset views from the western deck are particularly striking. The interior is casual-coastal in character — weathered wood, nautical accents, and the relaxed energy of a place where guests arrive by boat as often as by car.
