Each session covers two to three laps of the full 2.66-mile oval, typically reaching speeds between 150 and 170 mph. The entire time at racing pace lasts approximately three minutes, but the sensory impact — the deafening engine note, the physical force of sustained high-speed banking, and the precision of professional car control — leaves an impression that far outlasts the lap count. The Talladega Superspeedway Ride-Along operates from April through October, outside of scheduled NASCAR race weekends when track access is reserved for competition teams.
