Seiont Manor Hotel

Seiont Manor Hotel occupies a restored Victorian manor house set in 150 acres of grounds near the village of Llanrug, approximately 3 miles east of Caernarfon and 6 miles west of Llanberis. The location positions the property at the northern edge of Snowdonia National Park, with the Snowdon massif visible from the upper grounds on clear days. Caernarfon Castle is a 10-minute drive west; the Llanberis trailhead for Snowdon, including the mountain railway station, is accessible within 20 minutes to the east along the A4086.

The original manor dates from the early nineteenth century and was converted to hotel use in the latter decades of the twentieth century. The building retains period stonework and sash windows while incorporating modern amenities throughout. A private lake sits within the grounds and is used for coarse fishing and as a scenic feature visible from several room categories. Mature woodland and formal garden areas extend through the estate and provide pleasant walking routes directly from the hotel.

Room categories include classic doubles, feature rooms with enhanced furnishings and garden or lake-facing aspects, and a single suite. Rooms are spacious by contemporary standards and decorated in a country-house style with warm fabrics and period-reference furniture. The restaurant serves modern Welsh cuisine with an emphasis on locally sourced meat and fish; the adjacent bar stocks a range of Welsh whiskies and gins. A full cooked breakfast is included in standard room rates and is served in the main dining room.

Seiont Manor appeals to walkers, cyclists, and climbers based in the area for Snowdonia activities, as well as couples looking for a quieter rural alternative to the larger hotels in Llandudno or Caernarfon. Fishing rights on the private lake are available to all guests at no additional charge. Free parking is provided across a large estate car park.
