Hatta Mountain Bike Trail - Green

  • Loose rocks and uneven terrain in the Hajar Mountains — ankle support footwear is essential
  • Snakes and scorpions are present in the desert and mountain areas — watch where you step
  • Sun exposure at altitude — apply high-factor sunscreen and wear a hat even in winter
  • Mobile signal is limited in Hatta mountain trails — download offline maps before hiking
  • Always tell someone your planned route and expected return time

February-April: Excellent conditions in Hatta and desert trails. Temperatures 18-28°C. Wildflowers possible after winter rains.

May-September: Extreme heat makes any outdoor hiking dangerous. Not recommended.

October-November: Great time to hike as temperatures drop. Hatta season opens.

December-January: Peak hiking season with cool temperatures (12-22°C in Hatta hills) and clear skies.
