Assos Kadırga Beach, also known simply as Kadırga Koyu (Kadırga Cove), is a small, deeply indented cove beach in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale Province, approximately 90 kilometres south of Çanakkale city and three kilometres below the ancient ruins of Assos (Behramkale). The cove sits directly below the clifftop village of Behramkale and is sheltered on three sides by rocky hillsides covered with olive trees and scrub, giving the water an exceptional stillness and clarity. The seabed transitions from small pebbles and rock at the shore to sand further out, and the water is a vivid turquoise that grades to deep navy in the middle of the cove — widely regarded as among the clearest in the North Aegean.
The beach itself is a mix of rock and pebble rather than soft sand, roughly 200 metres in length. A buoyed swimming zone marks the anchor area for visiting day boats and gulets, which arrive regularly from Behramkale harbour below the ruins.
