Zorkun Yaylası Bungalows sits on the Zorkun Plateau in the Amanos Mountains (Nur Dağları), roughly 60 kilometres from Osmaniye city via the Bahçe district road. The plateau, at an elevation of approximately 1,500 metres, serves as a traditional summer retreat for residents of the sweltering Çukurova plain, and the bungalow complex channels this highland-escape tradition into a structured accommodation offering. The timber-frame bungalows are set among pine forest and open meadow, with wide outdoor seating areas that capture panoramic views across the mountain ridges toward Hatay and Adana provinces. Two-person bungalows offer a double bedroom, a compact bathroom, and a covered veranda, while four-person family bungalows provide an additional sleeping area for children or a travelling companion. All units include a fireplace or wood-burning stove for cooler evenings, which can occur even in midsummer at this altitude. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate and is served communally, featuring local produce including village cheese, honey, and fresh bread typical of the Amanos region's rural food culture. No formal restaurant operates on site, but the plateau has small teahouses and seasonal food stalls within walking distance during peak summer months. The surrounding forest trails make the property well-suited to walkers and those seeking clean highland air. Parking is free and abundant. The bungalows are primarily occupied from May through September, and the property has very limited winter accessibility due to snow on the mountain roads.
