Sumbas Orman Evi occupies a clearing within the Sumbas State Forest on the northern edge of Osmaniye Province, approximately 50 kilometres from Osmaniye city centre and accessible via the D817 highway. The property sits at around 400 metres elevation in the transitional zone between the Ceyhan Plain and the Taurus mountain foothills, producing a noticeably cooler microclimate than the lowland city in summer months.

The accommodation consists of timber-framed cabins with rustic finishes — exposed wooden beams and simple furnishings that prioritise functionality over luxury. Two cabin types are available: Forest Cabins designed for two guests and larger Family Cabins accommodating four. Each cabin includes a basic kitchen area with a hob, refrigerator, and kitchenware, making self-catering straightforward for multi-night stays.

No on-site restaurant operates, but a shared barbecue area with outdoor seating and stone pits is a focal point for evening gatherings, particularly popular with Turkish families during the summer school holiday period. Facilities are intentionally simple: free off-road parking, a covered terrace on each cabin, and access to the surrounding forest trails.

The nearest shops and restaurants are in Sumbas town centre, about 4 kilometres away. The property is well-positioned for day trips to Karatepe-Aslantaş National Park — roughly 35 kilometres west — where neo-Hittite open-air monuments and a scenic reservoir attract history and nature tourists. The Anavarza ruined city is accessible in under an hour. Mobile phone reception is limited in parts of the forest; Wi-Fi is not available on the property.
