Mevsim Mangal — Seasonal Grill — operates from the Altınapa Rekreasyon Alanı, the recreational zone around Altınapa Reservoir northeast of Karaman. The venue functions within the Turkish picnic-grill culture that has made lakeside recreation areas popular destinations for families and groups on weekend afternoons. Rather than offering a fully staffed kitchen in the conventional sense, Mevsim Mangal operates on a self-service mangal model: guests are allocated a grill station (the mangal, a low metal tray of burning charcoal), and the restaurant supplies pre-marinated meats — mangal köfte (seasoned loose köfte patties), tavuk kanat (marinated chicken wings), and sucuk (spiced sausage) — which guests grill themselves over the charcoal at their own pace. This format is a leisure activity as much as a meal; the grill session typically extends over two hours with drinks, conversation, and the unhurried management of coals between rounds. The setting by the reservoir adds the element of open water and elevated light in the late afternoon. A corn-on-the-grill option completes the mangal setup. Mevsim Mangal operates from April to October only, in line with the outdoor season. Summer weekends are the most active period; arriving without planning on a Saturday afternoon in July or August means joining a waiting list for a grill station. The venue does not accept reservations — it is first-come, first-served.
