Iğdır has no nightclubs. The Ararat Çay Evi in the bazaar is the city's most lively after-dark gathering spot — a classic eastern Anatolian tea house where locals play backgammon, discuss local affairs, and drink glass after glass of strong black çay until midnight. Visitors are generally welcomed with curiosity and hospitality.
