Kasımlar Waterfall (Kasımlar Şelalesi) is a natural waterfall located near Kasımlar village, approximately 15 kilometres south of Isparta city on the road toward Burdur. The falls are formed where a seasonal stream descends a limestone cliff face on the edge of the Taurus foothills, dropping through a series of steps into a pool below. At peak flow during spring snowmelt — typically April through June — the waterfall carries significant volume and the sound of the falling water is audible from a considerable distance. By late summer, flow diminishes substantially and in dry years the falls may reduce to a trickle by August. The immediate surroundings are carpeted with vegetation throughout spring: wild fig, sumac, and orchid species grow on the damp cliffs around the water. A picnic area has been established at the base of the falls with several tables and a small parking area; basic tea and snack vendors sometimes operate here during spring and early summer. The path from the parking area to the viewing point at the base of the falls takes about 10 minutes on a reasonably well-maintained track. The falls are best photographed from directly in front at the pool level, where the full drop is visible. The immediate area is used by local families for spring outings and can become busy on April and May weekends; weekday visits are considerably quieter. The site is free to access. The Kasımlar village road branches from the main Isparta–Burdur highway south of Isparta; a vehicle is the practical means of reaching the site.
