Göynük Pansiyon

Göynük Pansiyon sits in the small village of Göynük, approximately 14 km north of Bingöl city on a rural road that passes through mixed forest and farmland before reaching the entrance of Göynük Canyon, one of the most dramatic natural features of Bingöl Province. The pansiyon is a family operation occupying a converted farmhouse with a garden terrace that looks toward the forested ridgeline. Double, triple, and family rooms are simply furnished in the style typical of rural eastern Turkish guesthouses, with sturdy beds, local kilim rugs, and views of the surrounding farmland and orchards. Breakfast is included in the room rate and reflects the family's agricultural output — village-churned butter, local honey, fresh eggs, and seasonal fruit alongside tea brewed in a traditional samovar. The garden terrace serves as a gathering point for hikers returning in the late afternoon. Hiking guides who know the canyon trails and surrounding forest paths are available through the guesthouse and are strongly recommended for longer routes where waymarking is minimal. Free parking on the farm plot makes the property accessible for self-driving visitors arriving from Bingöl city. The pansiyon accommodates children comfortably and the family atmosphere suits groups with younger hikers. Advance reservations are advisable in July and August, when domestic tourism to Göynük Canyon reaches its annual peak and the family rooms in particular fill well ahead of weekends.
