Ozan's Place

Ozan's Place is a creative small restaurant and café in the Konyaaltı neighbourhood of Antalya, run by a chef who trained in Europe and returned to Antalya to build a kitchen that bridges his international culinary education with the extraordinary local produce available in Turkey's Mediterranean south. The result is a menu of inventive sharing plates and brunch-style dishes that feel genuinely considered rather than formulaic: Turkish pantry ingredients like sumac, pomegranate molasses, isot pepper, and tahini appear in preparations that reference European and Levantine cooking traditions simultaneously. Hummus with za'atar and a pour of excellent Turkish olive oil is a model of simplicity done correctly. The Turkish egg bowl (çılbır — poached eggs over garlic yogurt with brown butter and paprika) has become a signature dish that perfectly encapsulates the kitchen's sensibility: it is deeply rooted in Turkish tradition but assembled with the care and visual precision of a European café. Spiced lamb flatbread with sumac onions and pomegranate seeds provides a more substantial option. The coffee programme is a genuine priority — the espresso machine is well-calibrated and single-origin filter options appear on a rotating basis.
